M mahol macrumors newbie Original poster Oct 27, 2013 3 0 Oct 27, 2013 #1 After installed Mavericks on macbook air early 2012, reboot, screen freezes at Apple Logo. I have run check disk and all in order. I can login on safe mode with no problem. any ideas? thanks

M Manic Harmonic macrumors 6502 Dec 4, 2011 299 1 Oct 28, 2013 #2 Boot in verbose mode (command+v) and see where it freezes. It's probably an incompatible kext.

KdParker macrumors 601 Oct 1, 2010 4,793 998 Everywhere Nov 5, 2013 #4 If you haven't fixed this yet these steps should help: 1) Login using single user mode 2) mount -uw / 3) rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone 4) kill -1 Restart and set up a new admin user and then change password to get into your old user.
