I set up my SL with CS4 + iWorks, and a few other apps, and now my system takes more than two seconds to shut down like when I first installed it. Anyone else experience this?

After installing all my apps, SL shutdown isn't 2 seconds anymore.

It depends on how much time it takes...
Mine takes like 4 seconds... But it's not a big deal, as it used to be 10 seconds or more in 10.5.8.
However, if your system takes like 15 seconds to shut down, then there might be a problem.

I had a problem where SL started to take around 30 seconds to enter sleep on my 2008 MP.
Drop this into terminal:
pmset -g log
Scan through the results and look for any high times (shown in milliseconds), and you may find the culprit.

i tried what yezza said, and it kept reporting lag in my airport device? not sure...
anyway, i didn't figure out a way how to check why. i was playing around with an app, and it needed to be added to firewall, so i added it, and after playing around with it, i uninstalled it, and removed firewall settings. when i went to shut the system down, it closed in two seconds. now it seems to always shut down in 2 seconds, so i guess it might have something to do with the firwall.
