After installing Office 11, what do you do with the older Office and extra folders?

After downloading Office 11, a folder called RDC Connections and Microsoft User Data appeared in my documents folder. I am wondering if I can delete these folders.

Also, can I delete the old Office? If so, how would I do that?

What did you guys do after installing office 11? Advice appreciated.

Thanks, but I'm also wondering what others actually did with the older software? Did they decide to leave it there or did they uninstall it?

And what about those folders that were created? RDC Connections? Did people keep that or was it deleted as well?
