Hi,

There are threads about this issue however, I do not see any about Facetime crashing as well.

After the iOS5 update and heavy use of Facetime, it just quits out and will not restart until I do a hard reset. Safari is the same. I have followed all the procedures to fix this issue which are heavily posted here but I could not resolve with these procedures.

I use my iPad2 all day and night and Facetime is a major player for me. Anyone else have these issues with Apple apps? If so, have you found any resolutions to this besides the basics that have been posted?

We have 5 iPad2 in the family all of them experience this with Facetime.

Same issue

I have been experience what sounds to be the same issue. After a period of FaceTime use--and the time seems to be about the same every time, perhaps an hour or so--FT just simply crashes out. Thereafter it will continually crash out when trying to reconnect. A hard reboot seems to fix the connection problem, but then again if I use it to chat for an hour, it will predictably crash again and repeat the process.
