why would there be games on cydia when they can be on the app store? jailbreaking is to get things not allowed in the app store.

i think hes saying that now hes jailbroken his iPhone, he can now get any game from the app store free, and is asking us indirectly what paid games to get so he can leech and play without having to pay.

tsk tsk...

Get the nes and n64 emulators, the worked ok on my wifes 3s, though not sure how they perform on the 4.

alright sorry guys, im new to this whole jailbreaking thing, first iphone and all. But i got winterboard and sbsetting. But what else should I get? Fill me in here!

I'd grab backgrounder, that's about all I've got too. Other than some themes I'm modifying to suit me... make sure if you get openSSH that you get the Rock app (like Cydia) it'll prompt you after installing openSSH to change your root pw.

Why background when iOS4 has "multitasking" ? I kid. Fast app switching and Pandora are what I use the multitasking for. However, Backgrounder would be great for playing YouTube in the background (like songs I haven't downloaded yet). iOS4's multitasking implementation does not allow for YouTube to play in the background as of now.

Yeah, and backgrounder has been updated for iOS 4 so it can detect (afaik) whether an app doesn't support multitasking and automatically keep it running in the background.

Seems to have helped me (and a bunch of other folks) with skype multitasking issues.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

There's a good game called Post In the Correct Forum. It's really challenging.

Is there a reason why backgrounder does not work with YouTube on my iPad? It works fine with other apps, but I can't get it to play in the background and sometimes it won't even load the videos in the background.
