After JB what can I not do?

Since I have never JB before, I was wondering can you still buy apps through the apple store if the device is jailbroken? Will the applestore icon no longer work? Also, can I backup my JB ipad like I would normally by plugging it into my usb and letting itunes back it up? Thanks.

No, you can do absolutely everything you can do while non-jailbroken except for updating to a newer iOS (4.3.4, for example) or walking into an Apple Store for service. And you can do those things if you restore to a non-jailbroken state first.
