Hi all,

I installed a new ssd and migrated from a Time Machine backup, which had to be redone at one point, which took the first migration and put it in the Previous Content folder. In the end it's gone pretty well except that most apps still seem to think I'm using the initial User folder.

For example, opening a link in Mail tells me that I've never opened Safari before and when I click to open it, sure enough it's opened the Safari in Previous Content. Ditto for downloading in Chrome - it wants to dl to the Downloads folder in Previous Content.

I was getting an error in BetterTouchTool where it didn't realise I'd changed user folders and sudo chown seemed to fix it. Would that also be useful for the problem above?

Thanks in advance!
Matthew
