I used the method of going into disk utilities, shrinking the OS X partition, and then going into windows and using a program to make the windows partition larger. Everything worked fine and I was able to switch back and forth between OS X and Windows 7, but I was having some problems in OS X. My bootcamp partition was no longer mounted. In disk utilities it is greyed out and listed as disk0s4. This is a problem for me because I am running two programs which need the bootcamp partition to be seen (Bootchamp and Parallels). I went into Bootcamp Assistant to try and remove and reinstall Bootcamp, but it said that it could not be reduced to single partition.

What are my options here? In disk utilties disk0s4 is greyed out and unmountable, but I can click on the different tabs such as First Aid, Erase, RAID, and Restore. I didn't want to try any of those out though because I was afraid I would mess something up even more. Am I going to have to format the entire drive? How do I go about that? Thanks for reading.
