Had to restore my iPhone as a new device because an intoxicated friend put on a passcode lock and didn't remember what it was. However, my photos are not appearing in the photo stream or camera roll. Ugh!
To make matters worse, my computer was stolen recently and haven't had the money to replace it. So, I can't just send them back to the iCloud from a computer.
Just when I was about to curse the world...
When I go to iCloud > Storage & Backup > manage storage > This iPhone
Under the Backup Options where it gives details of the next backup it says it will include 8.8GB from my Camera Roll.

My question... Should I just backup and see what happens? Then restore again from that backup even if photos don't start to appear?:( Or is there a way to get those photos?

But the camera roll has just the screen captures above and below.

There cannot be harm in backing up, right?
