This isn't really a major problem, but I'm just wondering if it's normal? It only happens when my rMBP has been asleep for a little while. The cursor is really choppy and it runs slow for like 5 seconds. It always fixes itself though. Is this normal?
 
I believe that both the Air and the RMBP go into a "deep sleep" mode after being in sleep mode for a while. Rather than keeping information in memory, it stores it all to the SSD and then goes into a super low power mode.

That big of lag is most likely while your MBP is pulling the data back off the SSD and into RAM when you wake it up.

When the computer exits standby, the state of the system image stored on the flash storage is used to restore the system to its pre-standby state. The computer returns to full operation within a few seconds.
