major airport woes!
so, it started in 10.1.5
after sleeping for a few hours, i'd wake up my ibook, hit the Explorer icon and there would be a "can't connect" error message.
so, i up'd it to Jaguar10.2.6 and it was working fine. Sleeping long hours, waking and connecting.

2 weeks go by and now i'm back to the same problem. It's driving me up the wall.

i've done all the common fixes such as:
- connect directly(modem works)
- airport only in network prefs
- firmware, network updates
- join specific network checked
- hard reset
- admin utility reset

it's still buggin' out.
My ISP is Verizon DSL, using ethernet from Base to Westell modem,
my gear is ibook 600, airport Extreme Base station.

Can anyone offer advice? perhaps a different ISP (earthlink? roadrunner?)
would work better???? i'd appreciate any info......thanks

Same Thing

When I first got my AuBook, everything was fine with the 802.11g connection, when i wake from sleep, the connection reconnected. Now I have to do it manually.

Could this be something with 10.2.8?
