After sleep, sometimes touchpad tap does not work for a few sec

I am using M1 Max and sometimes after sleep, touchpad tab/button does not work for a few sec.
I can see/control cursor movement but unable to use tab/click from touchpad.
This issue only happens a few times per day and length of sleep does not matter for reproducing this issue.

• M1 max 32/64/4TB
• time machine usb is connected to MAC
• belkin USB ethernet adapter is connected to MAC
• using latest OSX version
• charging is on hold 77% by OSX

Wondering if this issue is known issue.
