I had used the hack to jail break my iPhone 4. At the time my OS was 4.0. Last night I updated my OS to 4.0.1 and lost cydia. And I have tried to go to the website and reinstall it but it won't work and automatically brings me back to my home screen. Is there any way to get cydia back on my iPhone or have I completely messed it up. Please help me if you have any solutions.
Thank you!

You lose a jailbreak when you update. Now, go to the site, and do it again.

Sounds like that's what he's doing.

OP. Make sure your blobs are on file before you update...always. if you can't get it to work with 4.0.1 I'd downgrade and repeat.

Like said above.
Every time you update or restore to official firmware thru itunes you will lose the JB and unlock.
You gotta run it again.
Clear your cookies, and history on your safari browser and try again.
It works for 4.0.1

I tried this and it still don't work. I cleared my cookies and tried to JB again and when it starts to install it just cuts off and immediately sends me back to my home screen and there's no cydia icon. I probably completely messed up my phone right??

under settings>safari>accept cookies set it to always and then clear cookies, cache, history and try again...it should hopefully work after that..

I had the same problem... to fix it just restore your iphone and jailbreak .. then restore your iphone from backup.. it should work
