I have some shortcuts that are, if a light is off turn it on, if on turn it off. If my studio speakers on my desk are off, turn them on. Some fans also. Someone else said it was a known problem with the if command. On the Mac Studio it seems to hang at if, and doesn't do anything if I'm watching it in the shortcuts app. Same shortcuts fire fine off my iPhone and iPad. Siri will also fire the shortcuts. It's not the end of the world, but I have a Stream Deck on my desk that I use to fire the shortcuts, and other things like mute, or turn the TV up or down. Just quit working with the update to Sequoia.
Opening in the editor on the Mac and on my iPad they are identical, rewriting on my Mac or rewriting on my iPad they still only fire from the iPad/iPhone and won't fire from the Mac.
I wrote new shortcuts with different names to do the same thing as the old ones on both the Mac and iPad and both will fire from the iPhone/iPad but not the Mac. They both hang at the "if"

It's like on the Mac it can't get the state of the light, whether it's on or not so it doesn't do anything.
I just fired up my laptop running Sonoma and the same shortcuts fire fine on the laptop. When I run it in edit mode you can see the lines turn green as it steps through ( on iPad, iPhone and laptop) On Mac Studio first line turns green and then it hangs.

Yes, Mac has been rebooted. Hubs were just updated to 18.1 couple days ago ( so were rebooted). No difference. As I said, shortcuts work fine from laptop on Sonoma, iPhone and iPad. Just turned Siri on the Mac on and it will fire the shortcut. Siri will run it on my phone and HomePods also. It will just not run if clicked on manually from the shortcut app on the Mac Studio which in turn will not work with the Stream Deck.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen this in Sequoia on Mac, or found a fix or work around.

Yep - I'm having the same issue. Others seem to be too. If I go into the shortcut in the app and click the play button, it hangs at the "If" statement which tries to get the on/off status of a smart plug. That part just stays green. Maybe it's a privacy issue...
