Not to sound daft, but I was thinking, whats stopping someone from replacing the MBA screens with a full HD (or even Retina) screen.
I get that the Retina might be overkill for what the MBA can achieve, but there are several other 13.3 in laptops with 1080p displays, is it possible to graft one of these displays onto a 13 in MBA?
I also have a cMBP (2011). I know these came with a 1600x1050 optional display. Does it fit differently to the stock display?
Other than the viod your warranty and possibly kill a $1-1.5k machine what are the limitations? I've done technical DIY's and built several PC's, Hackintoshs, but this is beyond my scope of knowledge and I'm curious to try it
Thanks for reading.
