AFX: Disable double-click new comp-window opening?

Hi,
i find it incredibly annoying that so many times when i click on a layer in After Effects (CS4) it opens up a new comp window. Often i'm not even double-clicking it but something must trigger it.

I searched in preferences but found no option to disable this.

Anybody know?
