Why on earth would you fit a display port on an iPad?

If you are to fit a video out, at least fit a standard one that's a common format for the majority of people.

I would guess because Apple likes Displayport and it's easy enough to get an adapter to fit other standards.

That would be my fear.

Oh for another "Apple has to be different and thinks it knows best" connector.

So 1% of people are happy and 99% of people need an adaptor to fit all normal Monitors, TV's and Projectors. Oh joy.

Sound exactly the type of thing Apple would do to be honest. :(

The camera resolution is still up in the air. It could be 1 or it could be 3 Mp
Just gonna have to wait and see at this point there is no reason to waste energy arguing about it. It'll be one or the other..
The display port or mini display port seems doubtful. If you argue that it is needed for business then you have to explain why the camera is there when a lot of business don't allow cameras into meetings and research areas. I'm not expecting to see that. It's just as easy to take a MBA into those meetings and that has a port doesn't it?

I guess when there is sensitive areas or products ... you have to sign a NDA (none disclosure agreement) with the enterprise .. If you leak information, you get yourself a lawsuit.
