There is an existing poll asking which iPhone 17 model you are going to buy. This post has a different spin…

1. how old-ish are you (if you are willing to share) and, 2. which iPhone model did you/plan to buy?

I’ll start…53 and I don’t know. 🤷 I have a 14 Pro Max with a battery replacement and I may just stay put for a while longer.

I will be 55 on September 19th. There are plans later this year, or perhaps early 2026 to upgrade to the 15 or 16 Pro Max. But right now, I'm still using my 11 Pro Max.

I'm 62, and while I'm not buying a new phone this year, it would be the 17 Pro 256 GB if I was. I haven't used a Max/Plus model since the 7 Plus, not a fan.

39, pro max. Despite having average sized lady hands I’ve gotten “the biggest phone” since the 6S+ and have no desire to go smaller!

33 and getting the 17 in sage. Will be my first base model in a long time. Well not exactly true I had the 15 Plus but all others models I always had over the years where Pro.

69, 512 GB Pro Max in Deep Blue on the iUP program.

Unhappy I can’t have black but after being forced to trade in my purple one (yes, yes I know but I’m still salty) I can’t allow myself to fall in love like that again. I really liked the olive green one, too.

Silly because I bang them right into a case

50 and trading in an IPhone 14 Pro for base iPhone 17 256 in black. Thought about the sage but I like more vibrant greens.

69 with a blue 17 pro 256 on pre-order. I previously had a 12 pro max. I found the large size to be unwieldy and the larger screen not large enough to be of any real benefit. I replaced it with a 14 pro and I am happy with that form factor.

I’m 64, and I’m getting the 17 Pro Max. I’ve had the large iPhones since the 6 Plus (I would have switched to Android if Apple hadn’t introduced a large phone that year, and I still think about the giant Samsung phones).

I’ve considered getting a smaller phone, but every time I pick one up and use it, I think, nope. I don’t like the smaller phones at all.
