ah does My older Mac mini have a "audio "card"?

Like the big Windows mchs do? can it go "bad" ?
well just pass few weeks my audio or "headphone" jack on the back of My mini,,, no sound. I tested the lil speakers(ones I have connected for years to this Mac mini) on my Logitech SB radio and that same audio cord? All works fine there.
Is this fixable? thank you all

WELL I SEARCHED ENGINE THE PROBLEM AND CORRECTED IT. SOMEHOW "MUTE" GO CHECKED. I DONT KNOW HOW SINCE IVE NOT MESSED WITH THAT BEFORE. oh excuse my capiral letters as Im a peck typist and didnt realize my 'caps lock" was "on"
