Hey all, I got the exclamation folder error right before my trip to Vegas.. well, not exactly as it is taking place this weekend.

An empty box was shipped, it should be here tomorrow. I would like to know the process of repairing an iPod and if it would be done on time for my trip. I have high doubts about this, since that's not a great deal of time.

Anyway, just curious.. can I ask for a new cover? (Mine's badly scratched and partly dented)

And by cover, I mean the acrylic front part.

Also.. how long is the process on average?

Thanks in advance!

Asking for a new cover (and paying for it) probably needed to have been done before shipping it off for repair.

(Assuming it's something they do, which I don't know that it is.)

Oh, I wouldn't count on it being back by this weekend either. That's too fast of a turnaround - even for Apple.

Thanks.

A couple more questions:
1) How much would it cost to have it replaced? Where can I get this service? Does Apple provide it? -- Would there be some special instructions type forum included with the empty box that was shipped?

2) How long does the process take on average?

Again, many thanks!
