I really haven't used AI with photography, but a awhile ago decided to "test drive" the new features in Photoshop. This is a panorama that I originally shot on my iPhone 12 ProMax.

I cropped the sides off and only left the middle

Then I had photoshop "fill in the blanks" with AI. I didn't use any prompts for this, just accepted the default

After playing around with some similar examples I ended up rather depressed. You could tell this was AI if you looked closely, but I think most people would just accept the bottom image without question after a quick look. Seems like we really have arrived at the point where we can't believe anything that we see in a photo.
