With the recent discussion of the use of AI in the Macfora Photography threads, it was discussed that there should be a thread JUST for AI creations: either editing or creative photos made with your mind and not your camera and carried out with AI. This is a place for just those type of art.

Here is an example of AI ARTWORK where the image was created in my head and then instructed Photoshops AI Generator to carry it out.

Here is another example of a photo taken with my camera, but, in photographer's error, I had a tree in the wrong spot obscuring the skyline which I removed with AI in Photoshop.

Top image is amazing if text generated... be interesting to see your prompts.

Bottom image - it's pretty easy to clone out an object in PS (context aware/clone tool etc.)

I really haven't used AI with photography, but a awhile ago decided to "test drive" the new features in Photoshop. This is a panorama that I originally shot on my iPhone 12 ProMax.

I cropped the sides off and only left the middle

Then I had photoshop "fill in the blanks" with AI. I didn't use any prompts for this, just accepted the default

After playing around with some similar examples I ended up rather depressed. You could tell this was AI if you looked closely, but I think most people would just accept the bottom image without question after a quick look. Seems like we really have arrived at the point where we can't believe anything that we see in a photo. :(

Thanks for sharing and posting the steps. It is amazing what these tools can do nowadays, but as you said, we as viewers (and not creators) can be easily tricked...

I'll see if I can't get those copied down to the best of my memory later today. I spent yesterday in bed and I have a contest to judge today, but I'll do my best!

I don't have the exact text but I typed something very similar to this in the AI generate box:

"Abandoned hospital room with peeling paint old hospital bed and elderly woman sitting in an old chair facing away from the camera." I was given three options and I chose the one above.
