AIFF to AIFF question?!

If I convert an AIFF file to AIFF will I lose/gain anything.

I only ask this because I have quite a few songs in iTunes that have huge gaps between songs.

e.g songs at the end of albums with hidden tracks.

So if I rip them again from AIFF into 2 songs in AIFF will I loose anything.

Hope that makes sense.

I should add these are on the HD already in AIFF format and not re ripped from the CD.

You will not lose anything, as AIFF is almost as uncompressed as it gets and will not induce information loss during saving an AIFF as AIFF.

AIFF is uncompressed so "loss" is not even possible. Why not convert them to Apple Lossless and save about 50% of the space. Same quality.
