AIM quitting a lot

Is anyone having trouble running AOL's Instant Messenger (AIM)? It's quit about 9 times in the past 24 hours (and i haven't been using it THAT much). I reported it each time. Power Mac G5 2.0GHz dual-core w/ 512mb running OS 10.4.6. AIM version 4.7.
Anyone? Thanks!

Adium is connecting to AIM fine. Don't use AIM. Either use iChat, or Adium. They're both much better applications. Much more stable.

Mac version of AIM is HORRIBLE. Use Adium.

AIM for Mac is dead... and crap. It quits when ever you use a scroll wheel in it. Like bursty said, use Adium
