To phone number: "246-246"

You will then be presented options like show buddy list, set status, send message! It works great for me!!!

I assume standard message rates apply so don't get too crazy!

The person could also SMS your iPhone via AIM by sending a message to your phone number +16031234567 I do this all the time.
