Aiport Express, Bose Wave CD & Playing One Channel Of Old Songs

I use my Airport Express with my Bose Wave CD to stream music from my iPhone and Mac. However, I've noticed on some old songs from the 1960's you only hear one channel of the stereo signal. For instance, I can hear the bass guitar and drums, but, the voices are very faint. Listening to the same song using headphones directly from iPhone sounds great. Is there a fix for this? Other newer songs sound fine on the Bose streaming thru the Airport Express. Does it have to do with the old "stereo" recordings were not true stereo or what? Thanks!

I'd check your cable, make sure you're really getting both channels.
