Aiptek GO-HD

I was going to buy an Aiptek GO-HD. 720p camcorder, for $230. Just to have some widescreen HD stuff, for fun, from vacation or whatever to play with in imovie and stuff.

However, I've read reports that the "Mac" doesn't see the camera, when it is plugged in. Is this the experience for everyone? Thanks.

Aiptek HD-Go

I was thinking of getting this from Costco - $199 too. I'm wondering if I will be able to use it in imovie? Does anyone know?

A Mac won't recognize the camera, but you can get the footage off an SD card reader. iMovie HD seems to work with it as well.
