Air display for iPad 2?

Hey does anyone use air display for ipad2? I'm just wondering how well it works and if there is much lag at all. The reviews are so all over the place I'd like a 3rd party opinion. I am running snow lep 10.6.7

I am running a 2010 MBP decked out, I want to use Air Display as a 2nd monitor, how well does it run over the wifi connection is what I would like to know. Is there much lag at all with the 2nd display and does it work well & stay connected.

It tends to be a little laggy. I've also found it to be generally a bit flaky. Nice idea, but not as usable as I'd hoped it would be.
