Hey there. Quick question. When I’m airdropping photos and video from my iPhone to my Mac, if it takes a while and I’m not paying attention to my iPhone to tap the screen when it starts to fall asleep and it falls asleep, I lose the airdrop. Sometimes I airdrop quite a bit and it takes a while and it’s a real bummer when I have to start over. Am I doing something wrong or does everyone have to keep their phone awake when airdropping? Thank you for any advice.

nah, air drop is 95% accurate for my iPad to MacBook, 80% to Mac mini
not that much with our photos as the live ones are slower.
air drop is worse on my friends iPhone when I send her photos from my iPad.
even when we are under the same Wifi.

the process is great when works but I always use a thumbs drive for important data to transfer.

'hope this message helped!

no problem at all ever in whatever from<>to combo. what OS versions are involved here?
So are you saying that if my phone sleeps during an air drop that the airdrop should still happen?

I’m up to date on my iPhone 24. My Mac still has Ventura but is up to date on that as well.

Thanks for the help.
