So weird that i've had this issue a couple of times. The right airpod, while in the case doesn't charge. But as i said, its only happened a couple of times. First time it happened, i thought maybe just a bit of dust caused a bad connection, even though the case innards are clean, i gave them a cotton swab and alcohol wipe down. Same thing this morning.. Went to pull out my air pods to cycle with, and the right was dead. But its fine again simply after removing and allowing the magnet to snap them back in place after a short charge.

Both times its been the right.. If it was a bad cell, it would be always not here and there. Anyway should still be under warranty, but wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar issue ? i keep my case charged always above 50%

Had the same issue with mine. Took it to Apple and they gave me a new charging case and it's worked flawlessly since then.
