Ok so I just bought one of the printers that apple says works with ios4.2.1 but my iPad and phone says it can't find the printer it was able to find it on. Each one for a few secnonds and did print but then when I go to get it to print on the other one it loses the printer on both. So does any one know how to fix this?

Try updating the printers firmware. Should be able to do right from the printer.
Mine worked after doing this.

Are both the device and the printer connected to the same wifi router? Also check the settings on the printer because my printer was giving an ip address that didn't have internet connectivity such as 169.254... When I finally was able to get it a correct ip address everything worked out perfectly.
