Well, I have a Cannon MP620 printer (don't know much about printers, but if you guys need more info than that I can look up more about the printer).

I'm 95% sure that the printer has wireless capabilities (its fairly new and has like a wifi menu), but I don't know how to set up airprint from my iPad to the printer.

Is there a tutorial on how to set up airprint or something?

Thanks for any help!

Sam

The only Printers that are currently supporting AirPrint are HP Printers. You can setup AirPrint if you currently own a Mac computer and install an AirPrint Hactivator (the file is less than 10mb, and super simple), AirPrint Hactivator is also available for Windows, but I have not been able to get it to work.

I have the same printer and AirPrint Activator (previously AirPrint Hactivator) works great. It takes only a few minutes to get it up and running so you can print from your iPad.

The only downside is that it works with your computer so it has to be on in order to print. Just google it and you should be printing wirelessly in no time.

I want to make this work on Windows - till now I thought it was only available for Mac so didn't bother looking it up but now that I have downloaded it on my PC and did all the required steps, I find myself getting stuck on the "Select Printer" screen on the iPad. My printer is listed with a lock showing to the right, when I click on the printer (hoping it would bring up the keyboard to allow me to type in username/pass), I see a spinning circle in the area the lock was at before. I've tried leave the iPad with the spinning circle for about 10 minutes but didn't see anything different when I came back to it.
Any help on how I can make this work?
