iPad Air screen and fingerprints

Has anyone else experienced considerably more fingerprints and smudges on the iPad Air screen than prior versions? I upgraded from an iPad 2 a few months ago and the difference is very noticeable. I have to clean the screen much more frequently now. Is it possible that my screen made it out of the factory without the appropriate coating?

Mine doesn't seem any different, and I highly doubt that a machine could make a through a rigid production line and miss a step.

Neither does mine...but then again, I've just had it for a few hours only...

Hmm. Well there is no question there is a difference. I still have and use the iPad 2 and I rarely have to worry about fingerprints on the screen. I never even thought about it. The prints are much more plentiful and noticeable on the Air.
