iPad Air seems dead

Tried starting my Air today, I haven't awakened from sleep mode in several days, today It would not start, I plugged it in and tried to start it, nothing. It's never happened to me before, could it be so drained as to not even power up when plugged in, otherwise its a dead soldier, the first Ipad I ever had to die on me.

Keep it plugged in to give the battery time to charge up a bit more. It could be as simple as a dead battery.

Press home + power button for 5 seconds and your iPad will restart.

If you left it on and the battery drained it will not come back instantly by plugging it up. Draining the battery takes it below the boot voltage. Leave it plugged up and when the battery reaches the proper voltage it will start to boot.

This exact problem happened to me once and your tip did the trick. I was totally freaked out for a while there. lol
