iPod touch Air Share/App Store Problems

I downloaded air share, (great app btw), but when i tried to update it like 3 days ago, the update stalled at 50% progress, and refused to to load any further. I didn't really care at the time, but today it loaded to 100%, then froze, and now if I try to load any apps that arn't in the dock, my entire iPod freezes, and the only way to get out of it is to do the power+home hard shutdown. I've tried restarting the Ipod several times, and nothing works.

I've noticed that the App Store and stuff relating to are the most unstable things in the iPod. Considering it's made by apple, I would think that it should work better than anything else...
ANYWAYS. Anyone know how to fix the problem? If I want to use a app, I have to drag it into the dock, and take something else out. Really a pain.

Any help?

Sounds like you need a restore, and if you are still having problems after that, you should try and return it (probably a hardware issue).
