Hi,

I got a macbook pro and a macbook air, both with Mountain Lion, that used to be able to see each other every time on Airdrop.

But, since I got a new Router, switched from a N300 802.11g network to a Dual band N600 router using 802.11n network. I can't find each other on airdrop anymore.
What's more interesting, is that if I set my macbook pro to the 2.4G network while keep the macbook air on 5G network, the air drop worked again.
So the situation is now if both computer connected to 5G network, airdrop fails. That's so weird, is there anything I can set in the router like band width or mode? I am now using 11an mixed.

Is there any possibility that the router would affect the airdrop?
