airdrop disappeared from sidebar

Hey everyone,

I went to move some files to my girlfriends laptop and the airdrop option has completely disappeared from my imacs side bar. I have checked in the finder->preferences->side bar and it isn't there so im lost as to why is has disappeared:s

anyone got any ideas as it is a very useful feature!

Try going to 'Go' > 'Airdrop' in the menu bar.

Can't tell you why it's not in preferences though.
