One of my colleagues have been sharing files with me over AirDrop. However, I don't get the AirDrop notification on my MacBook Pro when she tries to send the file to me. But then I get 5-6 notifications hours later. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm looking for other alternatives (similar methods to AirDrop) as this is way too unreliable for me.

AirDrop - File arrives hours later

Well, I HAVE had issues with it not transferring right away, but definitely not "hours." Usually it works instantly, but sometimes it doesn't, and I try a few times . . . then within a minute or so, all of a sudden it's transferring the same file 2-3 times.
