Airdrop help please

Hi - I am airdropping multiple photos regularly from my I Phone 7 to my 2015 MacBook Air and all of a sudden instead of giving me the option to select them from photos and save them into a specific photo folder , they are going straight into DOWNLOADS where it is very time consuming to locate them and then transfer them into the bespoke folder I need them in - is there a fix for this please ?
