AirDrop HELP!!!!!

Me and my friend just got Lion and one of the features I was interested in trying was AirDrop, when I tried it, it only worked when he sent files to me but when he tried to save the files I sent, it would say on my macbook that he cancelled it, is more likely that it is a problem with my macbook or his?
