With iOS 8 we have the ability to migrate ones photo library to iCloud.

My iPhone has unlimited data and is my primary camera so I have no issues there. I have no issues with my Mac Mini internet connection. The problem is that my ipad does not have unlimited data.

Is it possible to sync photos across iOS 8 enable devices using AirDrop?

More specifically, if I record a video on my iPhone, AirDrop it to my iPad, perform so photo editing with iMovie, how would all the syncing work? Will I end of with duplicates?

I'm trying to figure out a new workflow with iOS 8.

I'd appreciate feedback and others experiences on this topic. Thanks!

Do you not have wifi? If not, you could create a wifi network using your Mac mini

I am referring toy using AirDrop (either WiFi or Bluetooth). Not my Mac Mini.

Also, I don't think you understand my question. Let me know if I wasn't clear and I can add more details. Thanks for the reply.
