Hello everyone! I recently decided to jump all in on macOS + iOS Ecosystem. I finished setting up my Macbook Pro (2015 Model) and a monitor. Ive been using it on and off over the past few years. However ive always had an iPhone with the current one i own being an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Today i was going to move a file from my Macbook to my iPhone and i noticed that when i went to choose a device it shows as you see on the attached image. Whats even more odd is that if i select any one of the items under Devices, nothing happens. But if i choose the "contact" device in Other People, it does work. Making matters worse, if i change the settings on any device from Everyone to Contact Only, i have none of my devices show up for me to Airdrop to. Ive tried everything at this point from researching here on MacRumors as well as other sites.

If it helps same goes for sending from iPhone to iPad Pro, if i select the Device, nothing happens. If i select the "Contact" iPad Pro, it works fine. If i set either to Contacts Only, then nothing shows up. Thank you all for your assistance with this.

Mods, if this is in the wrong forum, please relocate. Since this issue affects all devices i own, i didnt know which specific forum it should go to.

Strange. Are you sure you’re connected to the same iCloud account on all your devices? I haven’t encountered any errors using AirDrop on a MacBook Air (Big Sur), nor on my iMac (Catalina)...

I am using the same iCloud account on all devices. I’m considering wiping all devices and starting fresh but I really don’t want to down that path.

Understandable. Sorry I can’t be of any help. Have you tried the official Apple forums? Those guys can usually answer more complicated tech issues...
