I used to have Airdrop on the finder sidebar but now im not even allowed to put it back? where is it now? how can i get this option
when i use spotlight i see its an app but cant put it with my applications...

When you say you're "not allowed to put it back," do you mean you can't check it in the Finder Settings or that even when you check it, it doesn't show up in the Finder?

I had this a few days ago.

I relaunched Finder via the Force Quit menu and was then able to select to add it to the sidebar via the Finder Settings.

It has stayed there ever since. Hope this helps.

Mine has stayed there ever since. I must be one of the lucky ones for once!

If you have any other Apple devices with Airdrop - turn them off. Power the devices down. Leave it for a minute and then refresh Finder on the Mac using "killall Finder" in Terminal. Check Finder preferences and Airdrop will have either self enabled or you will be able to turn it back on...

Same here iMac M3 OS 15.2. Airdrop can't be added on sidebar. Tags are on the sidebar but none of the files or folders I tagged with the color shows up.

Just updated and Airdrop does show up now on the Sidebar. The Tags are still messed up and not working as expected. Items I have tagged are not showing up. It was a great way to sort files that I want to revisit or keep for easy access in nested folders.
