AirDrop not showing in Finder or Preference

I have a MacBook Pro Retina 15" (early 2013) running 10.10.5. I noticed that AirDrop is not showing in the Finder sidebar, so I tried to add it from Finder --> Preferences. However, AirDrop is also not shown there as an option to add to the sidebar.

Is there something I need to do to enable this? I tried the following:

- Enable/disable bluetooth
- Enable/disable in System Preferences --> Sharing --> File Sharing, Bluetooth Sharing
