There is an absolute dearth of information regarding optimizing transfer speeds of massive files between iPhone 13 Pro and an M1 MacOS device.
Using Google-fu, I really get a bunch of nothing. It is known that Lightning transfer is... slow as balls... hence my question: has anyone been able to test AirDrop speed over Wifi6?
Maybe it's faster than it used to be. It's still an ad-hoc network protocol with tons of overhead making it traditionally sub-optimal, but perhaps direct Wifi6 connections helps some. Just can't find anything about it.
