iPhone Airdrop resulting in files with zero bytes

Airdrop between my iPhone X (iOS 11.1.2) and my 5K iMac (High Sierra 10.13.1) of both photos and videos shot on the iPhone X are resulting in files with zero bytes on my Mac. Airdrop was previously working fine between my iPhone 6 Plus and the same Mac.

Has anyone encountered this and any fixes ?
