when streaming audio through the software 'Airfoil there seams to be a delay on the audio

is there any way of changing around the settings to counteract this?

its a shame because theres no delay on itunes with airtunes, and when reading up on the differences between Airfoil 2 and 3, the delvelopers claim they'll be little to no time gap.

having now purchased the software im left well... disapointed

I noticed this also which turned me down on ever buying the software. I do believe I heard of a setting that would create a delay on the video as well. Or perhaps that is only in VLC you can do that?
Can't remember. Sorry for not being more helpful...

If I remember correctly, VLC is the only way to get around the delay at this time. Unfortunately I don't know how this is done exactly, so maybe someone who is familiar with the proper setup can chime in. Cheers.

Interesting because I thought Airfoil 3 was suppose to stop that with video. I believe with audio and, games for instance, there's no way around it. It's just the way the API works.

virtual djay and airfoil

has anyone managed to stream from virtual djay program to airfoil speakers remotely without delay?

i get 1-2 secs behind and it's hard to work with it.

tnx
