AirMac

I was registering my iPod when I came across something quiet intersting. One of the choices of products was AirPort/ AirMac. I have never heard of AirMac before and a search came up negative. May this be related to 'MobileMe'? Or could it be AirPort's succsessor?

It's what the Airport's called in Japan. Don't remember how I know that, just that I do.

Yeah, it's due to some sort of naming problem in Japan (existing registered name or something) that meant Apple couldn't call AirPort "AirPort" and had to go with "AirMac."
