AirMouse Pro not working

I am running AirMouse Pro on my iPhone 3G S, the latest version, on iPhone OS 3.0, with Mac OSX 10.5.7, with the latest server app. I have both of my IP settings matched to that of my computer on the network (192.168.1.105) both running on port 8000, which is automatically open. Everything is matching up in the settings, it just will not operate correctly. What am I doing wrong?
