Ok, here is the question. I want to go to bed to my iphone playing music, and I want the music to turn off on timer, then I want to wake up to the alarm playing my music. Can I do this?

This has nothing to do with airplane mode?

You can't use music as an alarm sound, unless you download an alarm app that allows you to (there might be one?)

You can have a timer to turn iPod off when you go to sleep but you can't set an alarm to wake with it playing.

To set the timer, turn your iPod on, hit play then go to the Clock. Go into Timer and down to "When Timer Ends" and scroll to Sleep iPod.

Hopefully with new iTunes Database Access API we should soon see song play option in alarm(3rd party..) being added as alarm like in normal iPods...
