So here's something interesting that I haven't seen documented anywhere. Since the Apple TV is now an AirPlay 2 device with the latest update, you can use Siri on any of your other devices to control it, both audio AND video. For example, I can now tell my HomePod, "Pause the Living Room Apple TV", and it pauses the movie I'm watching in Netflix in the living room. I activate Siri on my iPhone and say, "Skip back 10 seconds on the Bedroom Apple TV", and it skips back in the show that I'm watching in Plex in the bedroom.

That's something I have to play with tonight when I get home!

During 11.3 beta testing I could only command the Apple TV while it was streaming to a HomePod. Never bothered testing it during 11.4 beta because the HomePods were still 11.3

Completely forgot about it! Thanks for posting!
